The educational crayon kit from Que Interesante consists of colored pencils wrapped in labels that correspond to different elements on the Periodic Table. In order to find the right color for each element, the shop conducted a flame test that involved burning substances to detect the elemental makeup. For example, Potassium produces a violet flame, while Sodium burns yellow. The label is then matched to the corresponding color so that children can learn the elements as they doodle. The scientific crayon set comes in packs of 24, 96 and 120, making them an ideal tool for gradually introducing children to the Periodic Table of Elements. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Educational Crayon Sets:** Creating educational crayon sets that utilize labels corresponding to elements on the Periodic Table, allowing children to learn while coloring. - **Flame Tests:** Developing flame tests as an interactive way to detect elemental makeup and create correlations to educational materials like crayon labels. - **Interactive Learning Tools:** Designing interactive learning tools, such as crayon sets, that combine education with popular pastimes to optimize children's learning experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Education:** The education industry can explore the development of innovative learning tools like educational crayon sets to make learning more engaging for children. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Toy manufacturers can consider producing educational crayon sets that cater to different age groups, providing a unique combination of entertainment and learning. - **Chemical Industry:** The chemical industry can utilize the concept of flame tests to create educational materials and spark interest in science and chemistry at an early age. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Sensory Creative Toy Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creative-toys.md) - [Wood-Crafted Eco-Friendly Crayons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-crayon.md) - [Collaborative Color-Forward Toy Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/color-wonder-ms-rachel.md) - [Color-Changing Hot Chocolate Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-hot-chocolate.md) - [Holiday-Ready Toy Product Lilnes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-holiday-product-lineup.md) - [Crayon-Themed Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crayola-x-swell.md) - [STEAM Children’s Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gross-science-kit.md) - [Educational Climate Change Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toy-brick-sets.md) - [Bean-Shaped Vibrant Chalks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bean-chalk.md)
