Edonia and Newrest have announced a new partnership that will see the brands leveraging their expertise to provide customers with sustainable fare. Newrest will be utilizing Edonia's alt protein EDO that boasts a microalgae-based composition to achieve a [range of taste and texture experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/naplasol-promyc-mycoprotein-line) for diners. The collaboration comes on the heels of the announcement from the [French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/french-onion-crackers) (ANSES) that recommended the avoidance of soy-based options in catering due to isoflavones.
