The tree itself looks just like a miniature evergreen, but it’s really a [rosemary bush](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woolworths-fresh-bouquet) that’s been pruned into shape. The rosemary tree doesn’t have the sme scent as a freshly cut evergreen tree, but it is just as pleasant. Luxirate loads the Christmas tree up with other delicious [edible ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/specially-selected-ultimate-melting-baubles) like a star-shaped slice of Piave cheese, olives, salami and peppers in a string that makes it look like they’re beaded together. This charming tree is perfect for foodies and if a few ingredients were swapped around, it could be a hit with [vegetarian crowds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/this-chestnut-mushroom-caramelised-onion-nut-roast) too. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Edible Christmas Trees:** The trend of creating edible Christmas trees for gatherings and events, made from herbs, fruits, and other food items, offers a creative and enjoyable way to add to the festive spirit and culinary experience. - **Food Art Installation:** This trend of creating edible art installations like Christmas trees to elevate the food display experience offers opportunities to design immersive and engaging experiences for customers at events or in-store. - **Sustainable Celebration:** Creating edible Christmas trees from organic and locally sourced ingredients is a trend that addresses the concern of sustainability and allows businesses and individuals to enjoy the festive season without creating excess waste. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Food and Beverage:** The food and beverage industry can create innovative edible Christmas trees for restaurants, catering, and events to wow customers and add creativity and fun to the dining experience. - **Event Planning and Design:** The trend of creating edible Christmas trees offers event planners and designers new ways to create memorable and experiential events and provide an immersive experience for guests. - **Agriculture and Farming:** The trend of using organic and locally sourced ingredients to create edible Christmas trees offers opportunities for farmers and agriculture businesses to showcase their products and cater to the needs of customers who prioritize sustainability and quality ingredients. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Christmas Tree-Shaped Veggie Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-veggie-holiday-trees.md) - [Plant-Based Meatball Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veggieball-christmas-tree.md) - [Recycled Wood Christmas Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-christmas-tree-alternative.md) - [Festive Meatless Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pizza-for-christmas.md) - [Farm-Sourced Christmas Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fraser-fir-christmas-tree.md) - [Pampas Grass Holiday Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pampas-grass-holiday-trees.md) - [Tree-Shaped Chocolate Bites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treeshaped-chocolate-bites.md) - [Festive Meat-Made Holiday Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charcuterie-chalet-kit.md) - [Pop-Up Holiday Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/one-minute-christmas-trees.md)
