EcoRock drywall is the first green drywall on the market. As Springwise points out, while there has been [eco-conscious building materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-flooring) like Greensultate, drywall hasn’t seen the same eco-conscious enhancements.

Made of 80% [recycled materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/know-new-plastic), EcoRock drywall is used the same way as normal (gympsum-based) drywall but it uses less energy to produce. It is also termite-resistant, 50% more resistant to mold, generates 60% less dust, [fully recyclable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gochill-cooler), and can be used as a pH additive for soil.
