This development is said to reduce greenhouse gas emissions up to 99% in comparison to other forms of diesel. The initiative is called 'Fuelled by Glenfiddich' and was developed by the company that owns Glenfiddich - [William Grant & Sons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grants-blended-scotch-whisky). This low-carbon gas is created by using the waste from the distillation process - creating a highly efficient, and eco-conscious distillation and distribution cycle. Glenfiddich has even built fuelling stations in Scotland for its trucks to fill up on the road. The new vehicles are currently in use by Glenffidich and make a similar environmental impact to planting 4,000 trees every year.
