I’m not good with greens, but I always smile when I stumble across a new idea that helps us non-green thumb guys.

Designer Kyoungho Ha came up with this roof enhancement idea. The Natural Protector is a [modular pots system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-300) that can be installed on a roof top and combined just like a puzzle. Each pot opens up on all four sides to form a waterproof layout-base for [growing plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treesoil).

In summer, the plants on the [roof gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hope-villa) lower the building's temperature, while in winter they keep the structure warm. This system is an energy saver and also helps the environment.

I like it! It’s simple and green.
