The super-sized skyscraper is meant to be a haven for [migratory birds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-roost) and, in 'Swiss Family Robinson' fashion, lets visitors gawk at wildlife through footpaths that wind up the tower. The Eco-Cliff zoo will also serve as a [wildlife preserve](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urban-ecological-design) for the animals in the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve Zoo. **Implications** - With the addition of a unique ecosystem being put into place surrounding the boundaries of the buildings at the Eco-Cliff Zoo, this is really worth checking out. Those with an appreciation of green vegetation and eco-systems will love this zoo. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Vertical Zoos:** Creating tall structures that serve as zoos, providing a unique viewing experience for visitors. - **Eco-cliff Zoos:** Designing zoos with an emphasis on preserving and integrating natural ecosystems into the zoo environment. - **Migratory Bird Sanctuaries:** Developing specialized habitats within zoos to support the needs of migratory bird species. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** Opportunity to design innovative structures that combine functionality and sustainability, such as vertical zoos and eco-cliff zoos. - **Tourism:** Creating unique and immersive zoo experiences that attract eco-tourists and nature enthusiasts. - **Conservation:** Providing sanctuaries within zoos for endangered and migratory bird species, contributing to conservation efforts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Immersive Holographic Zoos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hologram-zoo.md) - [Expertly Designed Gorilla Habitats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/congo-falls.md) - [Elevated Leisure Habitats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-leisure-habitat.md) - [Bold Zoo Hotel Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reserve-hotel.md) - [Eco-Farm Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxeisland.md) - [Brutalist Jungle Sanctuaries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-dessarzin-jungle-sanctuary.md) - [Forest Tower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderwoods-vertical-forest.md) - [Biodiversity Architectural Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-archischool.md) - [Eco-Friendly Rainforest Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mandai-rainforest-resort.md)
