The unit works by being plugged into an existing wall outlet and will go to work offering access to six electrical outlets that each have a 90-degree rotational design. This will allow the outlets to be accessed straight on or from the sides to make it suited for use behind a television set, furniture and more. The ECHOGEAR surge protector features a 1080 joule rating and X3 MOV fireproof technology, which will work together to ensure it's as safe for daily use as possible, while also keeping connected solutions protected from power surges. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Adjustable Surge Protectors:** Wall-mounted electrical safety solutions that have adjustable outlets, suitable for different locations. - **Rotational Outlets:** Electric outlets with a 90-degree rotational design for easier access. - **Fireproof Surge Protectors:** Surge protectors with X3 MOV fireproof technology to ensure safety against power surges. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Improvement:** Developing safe and functional electrical products for homes. - **Technology:** Innovating electrical safety solutions for sensitive electronic devices. - **Furniture:** Designing furniture that can accommodate functional electrical systems. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Surge Protector Outlet Extendors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-plug-outlet-extender.md) - [Chic Technology Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/360-electrical-powercurve77.md) - [Modern Power Management Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strips.md) - [Power Station Outlet Adapters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anker-powerextend-usbc-plug.md) - [Child-Proof Outlet Guards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outletguard.md) - [Rotating Outlet Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oconnect-onestep.md) - [Contemporary Power Strip Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonbase-1.md) - [Pencil-Resembling Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pencil-multitap.md) - [U-Shaped Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strip-2.md)
