Essentially, it is comprised of an Echo Stick that records the information and an Echo Visor that allows you to replay the recorded information. Created by U.K.-based designer Tom Peach, the Echo Memory Capture 2015 is quite unique. With the push of a buton, the Echo Stick lens pops up, capturing pictures in a [360 degree range](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-walker-multi-cam) as well as clear, crisp sounds. It can be [worn around the neck](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seekr). The Echo Visor, equipped with earphones, lets you go through the memories by simply rotating your head. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Virtual Memory Capture:** Developing virtual reality devices that capture and recreate memories for a fully immersive experience. - **360-degree Recording:** Creating cameras and devices that can capture images and sound in a 360-degree range for a more comprehensive memory capture. - **Wearable Memory Devices:** Designing portable devices that can be worn or attached to the body for convenient and comfortable memory retention. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Exploring innovative ways to integrate memory capture features into cameras and other electronic devices for consumer use. - **Virtual Reality:** Leveraging the technology of virtual reality to enhance the memory capture and playback experience. - **Wearable Technology:** Creating new wearable devices that specialize in memory capture and retention for personal use. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Attachable Eyewear Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spatial-video-camera.md) - [Sculptural Pebble-Shaped Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ditto-camera-concept.md) - [Hybrid Camera Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/musiccam.md) - [Pebble-Shaped Vlogging Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyu-camera.md) - [Emotion-Driven AI Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memoreel.md) - [Aromatic Memory Projection Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scent-camera-memory-station.md) - [Quad-Lens GIF Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-3d-camera.md) - [Pocket-Sized 3D Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qoocam-ego.md) - [Translucent Pocket Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clearcam.md)
