I’m willing to skip the hunt and head to the art museum if it means I get to see this epic artwork. Oksana Maks is a Ukrainian artist responsible for the Easter egg Virgin Mary. The mosaic is currently on display in a cathedral in Kiev and took a whopping 15,000 eggs to make. Check out the gallery to see some cool pictures of the artist and the artwork. I can’t wait for Easter. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Religious-themed Artwork:** Opportunity for artists to create unique and meaningful religious art pieces using non-traditional materials. - **Easter Egg Crafts:** Potential for individuals and businesses to explore creative uses of Easter eggs beyond traditional egg hunts. - **Large-scale Mosaic Art:** Opportunity to create intricate and impressive mosaic artworks using a variety of materials. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Innovative artists and designers can explore new methods and materials to create religious-themed art pieces like the Easter egg Virgin Mary. - **Craft and Hobby:** Crafters and hobbyists can tap into the trend of Easter egg crafts to create unique and personalized decorative items. - **Museum and Exhibition:** Museums and exhibition spaces can showcase large-scale mosaic artworks, providing a visually stunning experience for visitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artisan Easter Egg Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loeuf-gourmand.md) - [Paintable Easter Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-kit-easter-edition.md) - [Large Cream Chocolate Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creme-egg-2.md) - [Viral Easter-Themed Donuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/donutelier.md) - [Breakfast-Inspired Easter Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chocolate-egg-easter.md) - [Meatball-Shaped Easter Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meatballshaped-easter-egg.md) - [Easter-Ready Madeleine Recipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easter-egg-madeleines.md) - [Beauty Product Easter Gifts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beauty-easter-egg.md) - [Easter Popcorn Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ms-fried-egg-choccorn.md)
