This design comes from the proposition for the Envision Green Hotel by Michael Rosenthal Associates. When this [urban green-resort](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mandai-rainforest-resort) and wind power station is laid, it will be a landmark for the city. **Implications** - The Envision Green Hotel will be made to operate like a "living organism" because of the way it uses the elements of nature to fuel it. Natural outdoor air is able to pass through the building without the need for "mechanical intervention." There will be [indoor gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasona-natureverse-pavilion) within the building that will create "mini-microclimates that filter the air and act as added insulation." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Egg-shaped Design:** The use of egg-shaped designs in architecture and urban planning is becoming increasingly popular, offering both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits. - **Green Hotels:** The concept of green hotels, which operate in harmony with nature and utilize sustainable energy sources, is on the rise as environmental consciousness grows. - **Natural Ventilation:** The adoption of natural ventilation systems in buildings, allowing for the free flow of outdoor air and reducing reliance on mechanical interventions, is gaining traction for energy efficiency purposes. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture:** The architecture industry can explore innovative designs and structures inspired by egg-shaped concepts to create visually striking and sustainable buildings. - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry can embrace the concept of green hotels to attract environmentally conscious travelers and differentiate themselves in the market. - **Renewable Energy:** The renewable energy industry can contribute by developing wind power stations integrated into architectural designs, providing clean and sustainable energy solutions for buildings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Organic Striking Tower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leaves.md) - [Multifunctional Circular Housing Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eve-park.md) - [Shapeshifting Outer Space Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acromnia-orbital-hotel.md) - [Low-Carbon Biomimetic Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tonkin-liu.md) - [Greenery-Filled Skyscraper Terrarium](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terrarium-cheongdam.md) - [Hotel-Based Garden Terraced Columns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pan-pacific-orchard.md) - [Eco-Friendly Luxury Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/land-villas.md) - [Climate-Sensitive Pavilion Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/querkraft.md) - [Carbon-Positive Dynamic Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/populus-hotel.md)
