# Funnel Pan Attachments The E-Z Pour Prevents Greasy Stovetop Messes By Meghan Young | Published 2010-08-21 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/e-z-pour References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/08/19/pouring-made-e-z/) I don't cook much, but I think it's because I don't have an E-Z Pour. As the resident klutz among both my family and friends, I'm a certified disaster in the kitchen, but the E-Z Pour could change this. This flap and funnel attachment secures onto pans or other wide, shallow cookware to ensure that its contents travel from one dish to the next flawlessly. E-Z Pour was designed by William Thompson and Alex Thompson under the direction of Professor Tsai Lu Liu of Auburn University. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Flap and Funnel Attachments:** Opportunity for kitchenware companies to create more versatile and streamlined cookware - **Preventing Kitchen Messes:** Opportunity for cleaning product companies to create more efficient cleaning solutions - **Innovative Design Solutions for Clumsy Cooks:** Opportunity for product designers to create more accessible and user-friendly kitchen products ### Sectors Adopting This - **Kitchenware:** Companies can design and market their products to serve a wider audience - **Cleaning Products:** Companies can innovate and compete to provide more efficient and effective cleaning solutions - **Product Design:** Opportunity for designers to create unique and innovative products that solve everyday problems ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cookware-Encapsulating Kitchen Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/splatterdm.md) - [Revolutionary Splatter Guards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adjustable-stovetop-splatter-guard.md) - [Quirky Fungi Kitchenwares](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-mushroom-funnel.md) - [Multi-Zone Geometric Frying Pans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ilean-pan.md) - [Versatile Kitchen Multi-Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-multitools.md) - [Cooking Oil Disposal Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fryaway.md) - [Space-Saving Range Hoods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oilvent.md) - [Dedicated Pan Dripping Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ayesha-enamel-bacon-grease-can.md) - [Mess-Free Gardening Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaflow.md)
