# Touchscreen Taps The E-Vision Bathroom Control System Injects Some Tech into Your Bathroom By Michael Hines | Published 2011-03-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/e-vision-bathroom-control-system References: [ballerhouse](http://www.ballerhouse.com/2011/03/23/the-futuristic-e-vision-bathroom-control-system-by-jado/) & [myidealbathroom](http://www.myidealbathroom.com/products/e-vision.php) Trying to find the right mix of hot and cold water is about to become less of a guessing game thanks to the E-Vision Bathroom Control System. The E-Vision Bathroom Control System is a new [faucet and shower head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dornbracht-atelier) from Jado, designed with a touch technology. Users can control the temperature of their water via the touch controls, which should make finding that perfect balance between a hot and cold shower easier than ever. I wouldn't be surprised if Jado included an [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henri-matisse-x-casetify) app that lets you start your shower and adjust temperature settings in the near future. [Touchscreen taps and faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faro-mixer) are nothing new, but what sets the E-Vision Bathroom Control System apart from all others is that it isn't an Internet-only concept. The E-Vision Bathroom Control System actually has a set release date of September 2011. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Touchscreen Bathroom Technology:** The growing trend of integrating touch technology into bathroom fixtures presents an opportunity for innovation and improvement of user experience. - **Smart Home Bathrooms:** The integration of technology into bathroom fixtures and controls provides an opportunity for smart home innovation, from seamless automation to enhanced user experience. - **Augmented Reality Bathroom Design:** The emerging trend of augmented reality technology in bathroom design can revolutionize the way consumers visualize and customize their bathroom spaces, opening up possibilities for disruptive innovation. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Plumbing Industry:** The plumbing industry can innovate by incorporating touch technology, automation, and augmented reality into bathroom fixtures and controls for a more seamless user experience. - **Home Automation Industry:** The home automation industry can take advantage of the opportunity to integrate smart technology into bathroom fixtures and controls, expanding automation capabilities and improving user experience. - **Interior Design Industry:** The interior design industry can explore the possibilities of augmented reality in bathroom design, offering consumers a unique and customizable experience with disruptive potential. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Voice-Controlled Bath Technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohler-perfectfill.md) - [Touchless Smart Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-faucet-with-motion-control.md) - [Pressure-Sensitive Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shower-concept.md) - [Enhanced Stylish Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md) - [Healthcare-Focused Touchless Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chicago-faucet-company.md) - [Contactless Voice Assistant Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huayi-smart-voice-control-faucet.md) - [Intelligent Bathroom Bathing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-smart-bath-and-shower-purifier.md)
