It has been crafted out of contrasting [concrete and wood materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-delta-lamp). Nevertheless, these two materials complement each other beautifully. Designed by Elomax Agency, the same design studio that created the [Elogen Lamp](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elagone-lamp), the DY10 Lamp takes on a couple of basic geometrical shapes. From a rounded rectangle to a solid cylinder, the form of the DY10 Lamp is regally minimal. Fit for both a classic and contemporary interior, it makes a quiet statement that doesn't compromise any existing decor. Emitting a [soft glow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light), the DY10 Lamp also sheds a comforting ambiance that could be used at a desk or even on the table of a living room. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 92% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Contrasting Materials:** The use of contrasting materials like concrete and wood in design for visual appeal and functionality. - **Minimalist Lighting:** Designs for lamps that are both functional and visually pleasing with minimalist shapes and colors. - **Ambient Lighting:** Use of lamps and lighting fixtures to create warm and comforting ambiance in living or office spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Innovative designs for lighting fixtures that complement and enhance interior design aesthetics. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacturing of furniture with minimalist design elements and materials like concrete and wood for unique visual appeal and functionality. - **Architectural Design:** Incorporating minimalist and contrasting design elements into the overall architectural design of buildings and spaces for visual impact. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Pine Wood-Inspired Minimal Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jakobsson.md) - [Design-Focused Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-soul.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Wooden Sustainable Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Sculptural Metal Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape.md) - [Sleek Structural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotional-lab-light.md)
