Even the satellite images on Google Earth have been censored in order to keep nosy neighbors out of their business. In this case, the Dutch Lanscapes series revolves around [the Netherlands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netherlands-pavilion), hence its title. Created by Mishka Henner, a Belgian artist based in Manchester, England, whose recent [Feedlot](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feedlots-by-mishka-henner) series garnered him much praise and attention, the Dutch Landscapes series is just as eye-opening. Interestingly, while it might look like Henner exaggerated the images, he writes, "There was no need to do much alteration since the images are so absurd and spectacular." Of course, that doesn't take away from their artistic appearance. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Censored Satellite Images:** Opportunity for companies to develop alternative satellite imaging technologies that offer uncensored views. - **Artistic Documentation:** Artists can explore creating visually impactful works that shed light on hidden government censorship. - **Public Awareness:** Opportunity for organizations to raise awareness and advocate for transparency in government practices. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Satellite Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunities exist in developing advanced satellite imaging technologies. - **Art and Photography:** Artists and photographers can explore creative techniques to document government interference and censorship. - **Advocacy and Activism:** Opportunity for non-profit organizations and activists to advocate for government transparency. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorfully Inflatable Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blowup-art-the-hague.md) - [Immigration System-Inspired Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/passport-series.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Military Base-Transformed Housing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buitenplaats-koningsweg.md) - [Dramatic Doomsday Bunker Images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alastair-philip-wiper.md) - [Glowing Sphere Art Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netherlands-pavilion.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md)
