The [coffee table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seahorse-coffee-table) features a fluid design that's somewhat abstract and calls to mind the [desert landscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-rug), which pops out through the flat topper. The [see-through top](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draga-aurel) enables the onlooker to further inspect the design of the base and admire the curvaceous form. The conceptual 'Dune' table is intended to act as a focal point within a space against more minimal furniture pieces like couches and lamps. The piece is designed in a moody, lavender-hued finish and allows light fixtures to case overtop to create further visual intrigue with shadow play. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Biophilic Furniture Designs:** Opportunity to explore furniture designs that incorporate natural elements. - **Fluid Design Aesthetics:** Opportunity to create furniture with fluid, abstract designs. - **Transparent Furniture:** Opportunity to design furniture with see-through features. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Innovative and visually-pleasing furniture designs that incorporate natural elements can attract customers in the home goods industry. - **Interior Design:** Fluid design aesthetics and biophilic furniture designs can be incorporated into overall room designs to create a unique and calming environment for clients. - **Lighting Design:** Transparent furniture can provide an opportunity for lighting designers to create unique lighting effects through shadow play that complement the furniture piece. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Desert-Like 3D-Printed Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-coffee-table.md) - [Topographic Wooden Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topographic-coffee-table.md) - [Topographical Recycled Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-coffee-tables.md) - [Kinetic Artful Sand Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arrakis-30.md) - [Coastline-Inspired Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marea-low-table.md) - [Striking Limited-Edition Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limitededition-coffee-table.md) - [Self-Operating Sand Artwork Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origin-coffee-table.md) - [Blurred Bold Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blur-coffee-table.md)
