As such, the furniture is made to be [easily carried](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rimowa-and-vitra), which is perfect for anyone whose never satisfied with the location of their stools. The pieces are very [plush and soft](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sander-series), allowing for extreme comfort when sitting. Moreover, the [stool and ottoman](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girard-stool) are paired perfectly together at just the right height, so if people want to do work they can set up a laptop on the ottoman and have a comfortable place to sit. The ottoman comes in a gray color and the Duffy Stool comes in a darker hue with various color accents at the bottom to add a touch of brightness to the designs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Portable Furniture:** Designing furniture that is easily carried and moved opens up opportunities for creating versatile and adaptable living spaces. - **Comfort-focused Design:** Emphasizing plushness and softness in furniture design allows for a more comfortable and relaxing user experience. - **Multifunctional Furniture:** Creating furniture pieces that serve multiple purposes, such as combining a stool and ottoman, addresses the growing demand for adaptable and space-saving solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Incorporating innovative and practical features inspired by diverse sources can differentiate furniture brands in a competitive market. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating portable and multifunctional furniture into interior design plans can help optimize space utilization and enhance overall functionality. - **Home Decor:** Offering comfort-focused and aesthetically pleasing furniture options can cater to consumers' desire for both functionality and style in home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wheeled Bright Stumpy Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stump-stool-1.md) - [Colorful Dual-Purpose Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/s1-stool.md) - [Fruit-Inspired Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-stool.md) - [Bubble-Inspired Bulbous Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-stool.md) - [Chunky Structured Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dotti-seating.md) - [Modular Workspace Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/versatile-stool-design.md) - [Wood-Mimicking Furniture Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stool-and-table.md) - [Geometric Upholstered Poufs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tait.md) - [Cozy Contemporary Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-bun.md)
