# Swingset-Equipped Tables Duffy London Creates the King Arthur Round Swing Table By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-05-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duffy-london References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/design/king-arthur-round-swing-table-duffy-london-05-01-2014/) & [duffylondon](http://duffylondon.com/home-page/) Duffy London has created a table worthy of medieval times, as well as three-year-olds. The table has a rounded structure above, so that [swings can hang down](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-eternal-child) on all sides of the design. The design was inspired by a quote by George Bernard Shaw: "we don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing." Duffy London aimed to realize this concept with this table, combining [playful elements of childhood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-table) with boardroom-type aesthetics. While the table looks slightly intimidating with its [dark finish and rounded structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monumental-table), the face that people are sitting in swings while talking washes away this menacing facade. The table is also available in different finishings for buyers.
