The whole mug is made to look like it is covered in duct tape and only the inside is left untouched. If you want more fun, I suggest you take this 'Duct Tape Mug' to the office because it will surely garner attention. After all, the color gray suits most things. I don't suggest you try this at home, seeing as drinking out of a duct tape mug could prove dangerous for your health. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Novelty Drinkware:** There is an opportunity for companies to create novelty drinkware items that draw attention and make for fun conversation starters. - **Durable Adhesive Products:** The use of durable adhesive products can create unique designs and patterns for products, like drinkware, that may appeal to consumers. - **Personalized Office Supplies:** Creating personalized office supplies like mugs can be a fun way to brighten up a workspace and increase morale. ### Where This Applies - **Drinkware:** Companies in the drinkware industry could benefit from creating more fun and unique products that appeal to a wider range of consumers. - **Adhesive Products:** The adhesive products industry can explore the use of durable adhesives to create new design opportunities for various products like drinkware. - **Office Supplies:** Businesses in the office supply industry can offer personalized products like mugs to make workspaces more fun and vibrant. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hidden Cat Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cute-cat-coffee-cup.md) - [Ergonomic Hand-Warming Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hug-cup.md) - [Coffee-Cooling Travel Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beverage-tumbler.md) - [Tracker-Friendly Coffee Cup Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traveler-coffee-cup-holder.md) - [Accordion-Style Coffee Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accordion-paper-cup.md) - [Handle-Free Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinch-hold.md) - [Stylish Cafe Brand Drinkware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everyday-drinkware-collection.md) - [Dinosaur-Shaped Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kawaii-ceramic-dinosaur-mug.md) - [Desk Thermo Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alessi-buri-tumbler.md)
