While the original Dubai chocolate bar is crafted in Dubai, most commercial versions—this one included—come from Turkey. Pistachios make up 50% of the filling’s recipe, which is more than most Dubai-style bars, and the filling accounts for a third of the bar. This bar made with dark chocolate and sweet pistachio cream also authentically features [crispy kataifi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-kadayif-chocolate), commonly used in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean desserts. These exclusive, crunchy, and nutty chocolate delights are so sought-after, that there's a limit on the number of bars that can be picked up per customer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 7.5/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 42% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Viral Food Trends:** Social media's power to drive demand for niche products exemplifies its potential to influence global markets and consumer preferences. - **Middle Eastern Flavor Integration:** The incorporation of traditional Middle Eastern ingredients like kataifi into popular products reveals a growing appreciation for cross-cultural culinary experiences. - **Premium Ingredients Focus:** Rich fillings with high-quality ingredients, such as pistachios making up a significant portion, highlight a consumer shift towards premium, indulgent foods. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Specialty Confectionery:** The surge of interest in Dubai-style chocolates indicates room for growth in the specialty and luxury confectionery market. - **Ethnic Ingredients Manufacturing:** Demand for authentic and traditional components, like kataifi, suggests potential expansion for suppliers of ethnic ingredients. - **Export and Import:** The international transport of regional specialties, such as Turkish-made Dubai-style chocolates, underscores opportunities in global trade and distribution networks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dubai-Style Pistachio Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-style-pistachio.md) - [Dubai Chocolate Truffles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-chocolate-pistachio-knafeh-truffles.md) - [Crispy Pistachio Chocolate Truffles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-chocolate-truffle.md) - [Dubai-Style Pistachio Brownies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-style-pistachio-brownie.md) - [Dark Chocolate Covered Pistachios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dark-chocolate-covered-pistachios.md) - [Pistachio Pastry-Packed Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lindt-dubai-style-chocolate-bar.md) - [Nutty Viral Chocolate-Inspired Spreads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amoretti-pistachio-cream.md) - [Nutty Canadian-Made Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-crunch.md) - [Bite-Sized Pistachio Chocolate Truffles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-style-truffles.md)
