Designed by Eunggyu Lee, Junghoon Baek, Sangmin Yoon & Samuel Sari and Seonggeun Chio, this chair means that all you have to do to dry your clothes is lean back. The Drying Chair Rack is a [standard normal chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patan-chair), only it has [rails on the back](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zehnder-archibald). While this is not quite innovative technology, the concept itself is definitely creative. With the Drying Chair Rack, “Sit, Lean, Dry” can be your new mantra. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multifunctional Furniture:** The Drying Rack Chair combines two functions to save space, presenting an opportunity for other furniture designs to integrate multiple uses. - **Sustainable Living:** The Drying Rack Chair offers an eco-friendly solution to drying clothes, encouraging other innovations in sustainability. - **In-home Convenience:** The Drying Rack Chair provides an accessible way to dry clothes at home, leading to potential opportunities for other in-home conveniences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture:** The Drying Rack Chair represents an opportunity for furniture companies to innovate and create more multifunctional pieces. - **Home Appliances:** The Drying Rack Chair reveals a niche in the home appliance market for more sustainable and convenient options. - **Interior Design:** The Drying Rack Chair presents an opportunity for interior designers to incorporate multifunctional pieces into their designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Storage-Equipped Restaurant Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rack-chair.md) - [Ceiling-Mounted Laundry Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goodliving.md) - [Creative Laundry Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rewear-chair.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Space-Efficient Drying Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spaceefficient-drying.md) - [Expanding Garment Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-hanger.md) - [Dual-Purpose Camping Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-a.md) - [Storage-Attached Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-chair.md) - [Compact Laundry-Hanging Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hangdrying-system.md)
