Created with a digital design that makes them suitable for use on [smartphones and tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artinoise-zefiro), the kit works by utilizing a [digital pedal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-midi-controller) that attaches onto the device. Users then beat the drums using [touchscreen-sensitive drum sticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porochista) in order to learn the basics, play games and practice without having to actually utilize a traditional drum set. The ACPD Drum Kits & Game can be used on a table or even strapped to your leg in order to make it possible to practice and play just about anywhere you might find yourself. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Digital Drum Kits:** Digital drum kits that can be used on smartphones and tablets are disrupting the traditional way of learning to play the drums. - **Touchscreen-sensitive Sticks:** Touchscreen-sensitive drum sticks offer a new way of interacting with digital drum kits. - **Gamified Learning:** The incorporation of games into the ACPD Drum Kits & Game provides an innovative approach to learning how to play the drums. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Music Education:** The ACPD Drum Kits & Game offer a disruptive innovation opportunity to the music education industry by providing a more accessible and affordable way for people to learn how to play the drums. - **Music Technology:** Digital drum kits and touchscreen-sensitive sticks represent disruptive innovation opportunities in the music technology industry. - **Entertainment:** The gamification of learning to play the drums with the ACPD Drum Kits & Game opens up new possibilities for entertainment and gaming industries. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Drum Learning](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/melodics-drums.md) - [Drum Practice Tracker Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drumbitious.md) - [Futuristic Flatpack Drum Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/future-drum-kit.md) - [Budget-Friendly Percussion Pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/percussion-pad.md) - [Functional Drum Kit Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crkd-drums.md) - [Noise-Reducing Digital Drum Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roland-vdrums-quiet-design.md) - [Finger-Focused Dancing Video Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orb-finger-dance-machine.md) - [Affordable Music-Making Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easyplay-1s.md) - [Pocket-Sized Beat Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylophone-beat.md)
