The raindrop-shaped plumbing fixture looks graceful and organic upon approach, concealing a function that people are often content to ignore. Stand in before Pengfei Li's bathroom appliance and make a waving motion with your palm. The device will open slowly, as if letting a flower petal drop, stopping in an upright or a more sunken position. With this, it caters to both men and women. In the second position, the user is supposed to [squat over the Drop Toilet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-urinal-design) comfortably low, and without the requirement of a seat's support. Stand up once again from this healthier posture, and proceed with a [hands-free flush](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vovo-neo) of eco foam water. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Touch-free Plumbing:** The Drop Toilet showcases touch-free technology, opening new possibilities for hygienic bathroom experiences. - **Ergonomic Bathroom Design:** The raindrop-shaped Drop Toilet offers a more comfortable posture for users, paving the way for ergonomic bathroom fixtures. - **Sustainable Flush Systems:** The Drop Toilet utilizes eco foam water for a hands-free flush, highlighting the trend towards more sustainable plumbing solutions. ### Where This Applies - **Home Improvement:** The touch-free and ergonomic features of the Drop Toilet present opportunities for innovation in the home improvement industry. - **Sanitaryware:** The unique design and sustainable flush system of the Drop Toilet can disrupt the sanitaryware industry. - **Plumbing Technology:** The touch-free and eco-friendly aspects of the Drop Toilet offer disruptive innovation opportunities in the plumbing technology sector. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hygienic Auto-Flushing Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/close-the-lid-toilet.md) - [Discreet Bathroom Deodorizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loo-drops.md) - [Feature-Packed Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neolet.md) - [Water-Free Telescoping Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clesana-x1.md) - [Automated Maintenance Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icleaningo-bidet-toilet-seat-dc02.md) - [Futuristic Intelligent Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-toilet.md) - [Hygienic Handsfree Toilet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toilet-lid-closer.md) - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md) - [Scented Toilet Drops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dedcool-1.md)
