The book includes 250 images that were collected as part of a collaboration between drone photography website 'Dronestagram' and photography editor Ayperi Karabuda Ecer. Part of the appeal of drone photography is that it democratizes angles. In the past, taking a high-quality overhead picture required a serious budget for things like helicopters or cranes. With [drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drone-lightshow), even amateurs can take awe-inspiring photos with hardware that costs only a few hundred dollars. Images in Dronescapes include a shot looking directly down at Rio de Janeiro's famous 'Christ the Redeemer' statue and a view through one of the gaps in San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge's supports. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Drone Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new ways to capture and showcase stunning aerial imagery using drones, making it accessible to both professionals and amateurs. - **Aerial Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create captivating art forms and perspectives by utilizing drones for aerial photography, challenging traditional photography techniques. - **Collaborative Projects:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Foster collaborations between drone photography platforms and editors to curate and showcase the best examples of aerial photography in books and exhibitions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Publishing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate drone photography into publishing by creating books and magazines showcasing breathtaking aerial imagery, revolutionizing the photography genre. - **Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate drone photography into tourism marketing materials to offer unique perspectives and attract travelers with stunning aerial views of destinations. - **Film and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize drones for aerial cinematography to capture breathtaking footage in movies, TV shows, and music videos, revolutionizing the visual storytelling experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Mode Camera Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multimode-camera-drones.md) - [Self-Stabilizing Photography Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hoverair-x1-selfflying-camera.md) - [Hybrid Racing Camera Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-fpv2.md) - [Lightweight Agility Camera Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-air-3.md) - [AI-Powered Hobby Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skydio-2.md) - [Collaboration Concept Photography Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-x-gopro-fpv-cncpt.md) - [Technical Triple-Camera Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-mavic-3-pro.md) - [Foldable 4K Photography Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinematic-drones.md) - [Foldable Lightweight Photography Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-mini-3-pro.md)
