# Awkward Newspaper Storage Dripta Slit Chair's Convenient Holders May Cause Embarrassment By Jessica Marcel | Published 2010-01-10 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dripta-slit-chair References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/slit-by-dripta/) & [dripta](http://www.dripta.com/portfolio/) Design company Dripta describes this chair as “[playful and functional](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verse-3d-printed-chair).” It may be both, but it seems that the company is unaware of the rather inconvenient location of the [newspaper holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roach-clip-side-table) in the chair. The Dripta Slit Chair lets you conveniently store your rolled-up newspaper between your legs. Never mind the fact that you may simply want to [cross your legs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sway-chair), between-the-leg storage just isn’t that great an idea. (Insert distasteful joke here.) Good thing the Dripta Slit Chair isn’t all the company has to offer.
