# Moms as Drinking Buddies

It seems as though everybody and their mother (pun intended) is getting photographed together at the bar these days. It’s very quickly becoming a [Facebook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/family-center) phenomenon, especially for college-aged girls.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for hanging out with the folks, but at the bar? It’s a dangerous mix of middle-aged faux pas and cross-generational debauchery--in other words, an accident waiting to happen.

Surely there’s a better way to spend time with dear old mum than by taking her to the local watering hole, where she’s subjected both to young predators (you know the ones) and the post-hangover embarrassment of having tried to live vicariously through you?

In short, go somewhere else with Mom and save yourself some dignity (and your liver some undue wear and tear).
