The entire length of the horizontal bar is a series of 65 LEDs that can be subdivided into separate and smaller sections of light. The HOLY TRINITY GmbH Rima Desk Lamp is particularly clever because of its mundane inspiration; the concept of curtains on a rod. With optical sensors surrounding each ring, the metal bands control the number and length of light segments, just like the sun coming through the blinds. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Modular Lighting:** The Rima Desk Lamp's subdividable 65 LED modules provide an opportunity to innovate in customizable and adaptive lighting systems. - **Smart Sensors:** The optical sensors on the HOLY TRINITY GmbH Rima Desk Lamp ring lights present an opportunity to innovate in reactive and intelligent lighting technologies. - **Minimalist Lighting Design:** The Rima Desk Lamp's simple yet sleek design presents an opportunity to innovate in minimalist and contemporary lighting solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** The Rima Desk Lamp offers a new and unique approach to lighting solutions for interior designers and architects/designers alike. - **Smart Home:** The smart sensors on the HOLY TRINITY GmbH Rima Desk Lamp could find application in other smart home systems involving lighting control. - **Office:** The Rima Desk Lamp could find applications in offices as an adaptive lighting system, shifting and adjusting according to the user's needs throughout the day. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flexible Workstation Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archflex-desk-lamp.md) - [Levitating Dynamic Ring Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levitos.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Modular LED Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ilo-lamp.md) - [Spiritually Inspired Artisanal Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triris.md) - [Infinitely Expandable Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cube-one-table-lamp.md) - [Professional CNC-Machined Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hilight-lumenforge.md) - [Fashionable Flicker-Free Desk Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shlight-led-desk-lamp.md) - [Dynamically Customizable Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illum-desk-light.md)
