Designed by Taewoo Kim, the fridge disguises itself as a [small filing cabinet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multidrawer) that can be [slipped under a desk](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otis-hanger-30) to keep it within reach at all times, while also providing a built-in cooling drawer at the top of the unit. This provides the perfect spot to position a refreshment between sips to keep it at the optimal temperature. The conceptual 'Drawer' mini fridge boasts a main section that, like the top drawer, slides out instead of utilizing a door to offer intuitive access to drinks or snacks during business hours. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Drawer-equipped Desk Fridges:** The trend of compact desk fridges with built-in cooling drawers offers professionals a convenient way to keep refreshments nearby at all times. - **Office Appliances Disguised as Furniture:** The trend of office appliances designed to blend in with furniture allows professionals to maintain a sleek and organized workspace. - **Intuitive Access to Refreshments:** The trend of sliding-drawer mini fridges provides professionals with easy and intuitive access to drinks and snacks throughout the workday. ### Where This Applies - **Office Furniture:** The office furniture industry can explore opportunities in integrating mini fridges with built-in cooling drawers into desks and cabinets. - **Appliance Manufacturing:** The appliance manufacturing industry can capitalize on the trend of designing office appliances that are disguised as furniture pieces. - **Food and Beverage:** The food and beverage industry can develop innovative and space-saving refreshments specifically targeted for use in drawer-equipped desk fridges. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Suitcase-Style Mini Fridge](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-mini-fridge.md) - [Cabinet Drawer Wine Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dometic-drawbar.md) - [Compartmentalized Smart Refrigerators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-refrigerator.md) - [Wheel-Base Smart Refrigerators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fridze.md) - [Apartment-Inspired Drawer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apt-drawers.md) - [Teen-Targeted Mini Fridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/so-chill-mini-fridge.md) - [Sleek Food Display Fridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kollect-smart.md) - [Minimalist Modular Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/console-desk.md) - [Sleek Contemporary Smart Fridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-smart-fridge.md)
