# Computer Art Support Groups 'Draw Secret' Lets Your PC Paint Your Problems By Michael Hines | Published 2010-06-02 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draw-secret References: [urlesque](http://www.urlesque.com/2010/06/01/depression-bad-computer-art/) & [drawsecret](http://drawsecret.com/page/2) I'm a sucker for Postsecret, which has to be why I like Draw Secret so much. This site is just like Postsecret, except that instead of sending in a postcard, you send in a [picture drawn on MS Paint](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simple-drawing-ideas) or Mac Paintbrush. I never felt artistic or secretive enough to contribute a secret to Postsecret. Draw Secret seems right up my alley though. Paint is not a tough program to use, and Draw Secret welcomes any and all comers. Warning: the secrets are still heartbreaking. The art, not so much. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Computer Art Therapy:** Using computer art programs for therapeutic purposes, providing a digital outlet for self-expression and creativity. - **Online Support Communities:** Creating online platforms where people can share their personal experiences and find support from others facing similar challenges. - **Digital Confessionals:** Developing digital platforms that allow individuals to anonymously share their secrets and emotions through artwork or other mediums. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art Therapy:** Integrating computer art programs into traditional therapeutic practices to enhance self-expression and emotional healing. - **Social Networking:** Building online communities that connect individuals seeking support and understanding through shared experiences. - **Digital Art Platforms:** Creating online platforms specifically designed for individuals to anonymously share their artwork or creative expressions as a form of personal catharsis. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Doodling Mental Health Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scribble-journey-app.md) - [Beginner Artistic Inspiration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-prompts.md) - [Creativity-Supporting Art Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blank-app.md) - [AI Art Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deepseek-image.md) - [Digital AI-Generated Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/picsart-1.md) - [AI-Powered Sketch-To-Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawingpics.md) - [Artistic Feedback Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instant-art-review.md) - [Photo Art Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-painter.md) - [AI Art Tutors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simply-draw.md)
