# Lounging Hammock Tents The Draumr Tent Rests Off the Ground like a Tree Swing By M | Published 2014-06-12 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draumr References: [coolhunting](http://www.coolhunting.com/travel/amok-draumr-hammock-camping.php?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:%20ch%20Cool%20Hunting) & [amokequipment](http://www.amokequipment.com/) When you take some time off from your busy schedule to plan a camping trip, it's nice to have a place to sleep in like the Draumr tent that doubles up as a relaxing tree hammock to hang out in. The Draumr camping tent is designed by a Norway company called Amok Equipment. Unlike a traditional tent, the Dramur tent doesn't rest on the ground. Instead, the Dramur tent can be suspended like a hammock from two tree trucks to offer campers a relaxing and comfortable place to sleep. To compensate for the lack of an enclosed structure to sleep in, the Dramur comes with a waterproof and wind-resistant tarp and a heavy-duty mosquito net. The Dramur hammock tent would be a great place to sleep in during the warmer summer weather. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Hanging Hammock Tents:** Draumr tent offers a unique camping experience by suspending from trees like a hammock. - **Outdoor Comfort Solutions:** The use of hammock tents like Draumr provides a comfortable and relaxing alternative to traditional tents. - **Innovative Camping Gear:** The Draumr tent combines the functionality of a hammock and a tent for a unique camping experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Outdoor Recreation:** Hanging hammock tents like Draumr are disrupting the outdoor recreation industry by providing a new way to camp comfortably. - **Travel and Tourism:** The use of hammock tents such as Draumr can enhance the camping experience for travelers, attracting more tourists to outdoor destinations. - **Camping Equipment:** The Draumr tent represents a disruptive innovation in the camping equipment industry, offering a new type of tent that provides comfort and relaxation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Exo-Frame Hammock Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anymaka-hammock-tent.md) - [Featherlight Lay-Flat Camping Hammocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haven-spectre-tent.md) - [Ergonomic Suspended Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switra-swisstrail.md) - [Omni-Position Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-tent.md) - [Frontcountry Hammock Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frontcountry-hammock-tent.md) - [Angular Multi-Level Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokken-softshell-tent.md) - [Heavy-Duty Hammock Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heavyduty-hammock-tent.md) - [Customizable Two-Level Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loft-tent.md) - [Lightweight Suspended Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-tents.md)
