The device features a mountainous design that can be positioned overtop of almost any drain and will immediately go to work [catching hairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canopy-bath-tub-filter) that would otherwise become clogged in the pipe. This is achieved thanks to the conical design that works to separate the water from the hair to let it freely escape, while capturing the debris for easy removal. The 'HUROYAMA' drain grille is crafted from silicone to ensure durability and is even infused with silver-ion particles that will work to neutralize bacteria to inhibit the growth of mold. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Drainage Grille Accessories:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Develop advanced drain grilles with enhanced filtration capabilities to prevent clogs and improve plumbing efficiency. - **Hair-capturing Devices:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Create innovative devices that effectively capture and remove hair from drains, solving a common household problem. - **Anti-bacterial Plumbing Accessories:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Design plumbing accessories infused with antibacterial properties to prevent mold and inhibit bacterial growth in pipes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Bathroom Accessories:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Develop and market innovative bathroom accessories that improve hygiene and simplify maintenance. - **Home Maintenance:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Revolutionize home maintenance industry by introducing advanced tools and solutions to address common household issues. - **Plumbing Equipment:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Innovate plumbing equipment by integrating new technologies and materials to enhance performance and minimize maintenance needs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wall-Mounted Hair Catchers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hair-catcher1.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Filtered Tub Spouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bath-haus.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Refined Dishwasher Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grifoa-sliding-faucet.md) - [Minimal Gridded Umbrella Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-grid.md) - [Microplastic Washing Machine Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washing-machine-filter.md) - [Cheeky Bathroom Plungers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-plunger.md) - [Dual-Use Ceramic Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luneup.md)
