Jamin has been in love with Val for more than five long years and it was about time he popped the question. Hence began a lovey-dovey musical proposal at Downtown Disney. Jamin teamed up with Marvels Dance Company for the well-planned [flashmob proposal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-launderette-of-love). He took his love, Val, to Downtown Disney and while a team of dancers danced to the very famous Bruno Mars’ ‘Marry You,’ Val was still completely clueless. And then, Jamin joined the dance team and out popped the ring. Down on one knee, with a [beautiful diamond ring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omni-boston-hotel) in one hand, he proposed to Val. It was truly magical to watch such a heartwarming scene, which has been popular ever since ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ and ‘When Harry Met Sally.’ So I’m warning y’all, you will need tissues for this one. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Romance](https://www.trendhunter.com/romance) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Flashmob Proposals:** The trend of choreographed flashmob proposals creates memorable and romantic engagement moments. - **Heartwarming Surprise Engagements:** Surprise choreographed proposals like the Downtown Disney Flashmob Engagement generate emotional and memorable experiences for couples. - **Musical Marriage Proposals:** Musical marriage proposals, like the one at Downtown Disney, combine creativity and romance to create unforgettable moments. ### Where This Applies - **Event Planning:** Event planning businesses can offer specialized services to create choreographed flashmob proposals for clients. - **Jewelry:** The jewelry industry can benefit from the trend of elaborate marriage proposals by providing unique and stunning engagement rings. - **Entertainment:** The entertainment industry can explore opportunities to collaborate with individuals and companies to create surprise engagement experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Engagement Ring Claw Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engagement-moment.md) - [Branded Free Wedding Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/get-married-at-serendipity3.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Yacht Proposal Packages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sail-away-with-me.md) - [Onion Ring Proposals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onion-ring-proposal.md) - [Pet-Inspired Proposal Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engaged-couples.md) - [Proposal Ring Box Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ring-box-set.md) - [Unique Wedding Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/love-on-the-ledge.md) - [Free Gym Weddings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gym-weddings.md)
