The system is intended to disappear when not in use and features a glass panel that will retract in the back of the range to keep it perfectly out of sight. This will work particularly well in open-concept living spaces where there isn't any available overhead space to position a traditional range hood. The SIEMENS 'glassdraftAir' downdraft range hood makes use of low-pressure technology that will guide steam and smoke to the extraction area for removal. The illuminated design of the unit will make it an eye-catching addition to any space, while [voice assistant functionality](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeg-kitchen-range) will streamline control.
