Not everyone desires [futuristic egg shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/siembra-capsule) in their home, however, and may prefer more down-to-earth styles like the Cocoon Collection by Fute Design. Fute Design’s Cocoon Collection appears to be made from [wicker](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispers-of-the-wildwood), and by implementing the [pod design trend](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sundae-modular-lounge), all of the furnishings have a modern, classic, and elegant look about them. There are plenty of styles to choose from in the Fute Cocoon Collection; I love the piece you can split-up, making it look like a broken cocoon at the top. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pod-style Furniture:** Opportunity to create innovative pod-style furniture designs using different materials and styles. - **Wicker Furniture:** Opportunity to reimagine wicker furniture in modern and elegant designs. - **Down-to-earth Styles:** Opportunity to develop furniture designs that combine simplicity and sophistication for a more natural look. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Opportunity for furniture designers to create unique and stylish pieces inspired by the pod-style and wicker trends. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor brands to incorporate pod-style and wicker furniture into their product offerings. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to use pod-style and wicker furniture to create modern and elegant living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Cushioned Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pod-outdoor-seating.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Shaded Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-shelter.md) - [Woven Rattan Furniture Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-collection-1.md) - [Rippled Modular Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffa-furniture.md) - [Origami-Inspired Seating Capsule](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origamiinspired-design1.md) - [Playful Casual Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uchronia-wave.md) - [Adaptable Modular Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-pods.md) - [Cozy Contemporary Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-bun.md)
