Looking at the front and back of this double-sided house designed by Kennerly Architecture & Planning just seems to be two different buildings from two very different eras. However, believe it or not, this is the same house. On the front side of the house, a [Victorian-inspired facade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/catalog-house) was developed so that the house would blend in beautifully with the rest of the more formal-looking houses on the street. In a stark contrast to this, the back of the house that points towards the alleyway is [crisp, clean and modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bureau-de-change-2), which is something you'd expect to see today.

Despite the dichotomy of the house's exterior, its interior blends the two styles together perfectly, fusing [classic architectural details with modern materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gunter-and-co).
