The cabins were designed and [prefabricated off-site](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pebl-grand-cabin) then placed on the concrete foundations on the beachside side to ensure none of the surroundings were harmed. The interiors feature a living area, kitchen, private guest room, private bathroom and a hot tub that opens out onto an open space for entertaining. The exterior of each bungalow has [glazed sliding doors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beaufort-bushland-retreat) that allow natural light to flood into the main living space, while also opening up to the private deck. Each of the Dor Holiday Bungalows is protected by a [wooden pergola](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bangalow-road-house) that looks out onto the property's garden and the ocean views. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Eco-friendly Prefabricated Cabins:** Prefabrication and eco-friendly materials are disrupting the hospitality industry by providing unique and sustainable accommodations. - **Seamless Indoor-outdoor Living:** The integration of glazed sliding doors and open spaces is revolutionizing the way we experience the relationship between indoor and outdoor living. - **Personalized Luxury Experiences:** The addition of private hot tubs and guest rooms within bungalows allows for customized and luxurious travel experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry can take advantage of prefabrication and eco-friendly materials to offer unique and sustainable accommodations. - **Architecture:** Architects can explore the integration of glazed sliding doors and open spaces to create innovative indoor-outdoor living designs. - **Travel and Tourism:** The travel and tourism industry can tap into the trend of personalized luxury experiences by offering bungalows with private amenities and personalized guest services. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tranquil Shoppable Bungalows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-robert-mckinley.md) - [Rustic Contemporary Bunkhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guemes-island-bunkhouse.md) - [Waterside Retreat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bora-boral.md) - [Beachfront-Inspired Tranquil Bungalows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/captain-balfour.md) - [Relaxing Wooden Holiday Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heatherhill-beach-house.md) - [Cedar-Clad Cabin Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prospect-berkshires-resort.md) - [Picturesque Modern Holiday Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ligar-bay-bach.md) - [Coastal Bright Red Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handegrd-arkitektur.md) - [Countryside Woodland Cabin Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aralar-cottage.md)
