# Rustic Wooden Door Wedges The Ski Slope Door Stops by Lotta Cole Design are Chic and Minimalist By Gil Cohen | Published 2013-04-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/door-stops References: [swiss-miss](http://www.swiss-miss.com/2013/04/ski-slope-door-wedge.html) & [designersmakers](http://www.designersmakers.com/collections/all/products/ski-slope-door-wedge-by-lotta-cole-design) Specializing in one-of-a-kind pieces, the Lotta Cole Design studio has created a collection of Ski Slope Door Stops that can be customized to order. Using wedges made from natural Juniper bush bark from Sweden, the wood is given its classic door wedge shape, and is painted and polished in the London studio. Purposefully left incomplete, the wood has a rugged look with natural details and swirls left intact with one distinct stripe of paint along the side in either black, white or light blue. These rustic timber pieces would be perfect for a man cave, a cottage and any space where the decor is left as macho and natural as possible for a clean and fuss-free look. Each of the Lotta Cole Design Ski Slope Door Stops has its own individual characteristics. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Customized Door Stops:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a platform for customers to design and order customized door stops to match their unique interior styles. - **Natural and Rustic Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a line of home decor products that combine natural materials and rustic design for a trendy and environmentally friendly aesthetic. - **Minimalist Door Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design and manufacture minimalist door accessories that elevate the functionality and style of interior spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate technology and automation into interior design services to enhance customization and streamline the design process. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore sustainable manufacturing processes and eco-friendly materials to create innovative and stylish home decor products. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate smart features and modular design into furniture manufacturing to cater to the needs of modern, space-conscious consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [3D-Printed Door Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ross-lovegroves-door-handles.md) - [Stylish Oakwood Storage Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moose-cabinet.md) - [Contemporary Ski Home Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traditional-ski-chalet.md) - [Modernist Ski-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-chair.md) - [Stylish Multi-Use Entryway Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/entryway-shoe-rack.md) - [Sculptural Door Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edge-door-handle.md) - [Bold Wooden Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wide-guy-door-pull.md) - [Elegant Wooden Pull Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ribbon-pull.md) - [Modular Home Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/offcuts.md)
