Crafted by people with more than 30 years of experience, the Holdude is a device that's made with quality at its forefront. In order to explain the figurine, the company includes a short comic strip that tells the story of man who recently traveled to a new land to find friends. In the middle of explaining his life in the north however, he's interrupted by a small boy and a parrot who insist that he hold a book for them. The story ends here, and it's assumed that the Holdude has found a purpose in working as a door stopper and more. Consumers can customize the Holdude however they like, be it making him bright green or putting a small sombrero on him. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Customizable Door Stoppers:** Opportunity for businesses to create unique and personalized door stoppers that cater to individual preferences and design aesthetics. - **Multi-functional Figurines:** Innovation potential for figurines that serve multiple purposes such as bookends, dice holders, or other functional accessories. - **Narrative-driven Products:** Potential for products that tell a story or have a background narrative, creating a deeper connection and engagement with consumers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for the home decor industry to offer customizable and multi-functional accessories that add aesthetic value and practicality to homes. - **Gifts and Novelties:** Innovation potential for unique and narrative-driven figurines that can be personalized, making them great gifts or collectible novelties. - **Toy and Game Industry:** Opportunity to create figurines that not only serve as toys but also have additional functionalities, enhancing play experiences and expanding market appeal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimally Engineered Bookends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firm-book-end.md) - [Versatile Book Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-x-moebe-book-stand.md) - [Cable Storage Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hold-the-phone-stand.md) - [Sculptural Door Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edge-door-handle.md) - [Book-Storing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookgroove-bookrack.md) - [Highly Functional Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loki-stool.md) - [Personality-Enhancing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ordo-book.md) - [Reading Book Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-x-moebe.md) - [Brutalist Multifunctional Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyeonil-jeong.md)
