# Precariously Pieced Pyramids The Domino Stack by Annodomino2007 Peaks too Soon By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2011-05-24 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domino-stack-by-annodomino2007 References: [theawesomer](http://theawesomer.com/largest-domino-pyramid-almost/103630/) & [incometech](http://www.incometech.com/) Peaking too soon can have disastrous effects, and this domino stack by Annodomino2007 hits its climax a few blocks early. Instead of creating the [world's largest domino pyramid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyramid-hut), Annomdomino2007 has to settle with "almost" as a prefix. For those who have suffered the fate of volatile domino games, you will understand the sheer terror of watching a piece waver ever so slightly. A minuscule wrong move or touch of wind can send these [domino blocks toppling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottega-veneta-jenga) over in seconds. Unfortunately, the domino stack by Annodomino2007 suffered this disastrous fate and is now the brunt of a few YouTubers' entertainment instead of making history in the Guinness Book of World Records. If you are one of the fated few who struggles at this game of tedious mind play, then view the video with caution; it may bring back haunting memories. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Domino Stacking:** There is an opportunity for developing materials that increase the stability of dominoes and enable a more impressive domino pyramid to be built. - **Online Entertainment:** There is potential for creating more engaging content for online audiences that includes domino stacking and other similar activities. - **Mind Games:** There is an opportunity for creating games that require meticulous skill and strategy, similar to domino stacking. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Toy Manufacturing:** Toy manufacturers can create new products that improve the stability of dominoes and enable more elaborate setups. - **Social Media:** Social media companies can add more interactive features for users to engage with niche content such as domino stacking. - **Gaming:** Game developers can create new games that rely on careful planning and strategy much like domino stacking. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Blockish Oversized Stacking Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tetris-tumble-xl.md) - [See-Through Piece Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transparent-jigsaw-puzzle.md) - [Stacked Concrete Memorial Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qatar-world-cup-memorial.md) - [Cheeky Employee Pizza Titles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/worlds-fastest-pizza-maker.md) - [Artful Pyramid Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/living-pyramid.md) - [Rome Monument Block Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creator-expert-colosseum.md) - [Domino-Inspired Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domino-pendant.md) - [Altered Pyramid Concrete Monuments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyramid-of-tirana.md) - [Stackable Potato Appetizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hash-brown-topple-tower.md)
