The lights, mostly of the [IKEA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-varmblixt-collection) work lamp variety, have been caught in the shadowy Norwegian landscape looking as enchanting as they can be. Against the snow-covered ground and at the beach they look as if they are holding a party of their own. Yet lurking at the side of a stream at midnight, they look faintly threatening. Who knew desk and bedside lights could be so photogenically diverse? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Photographic Lighting:** Opportunity for developing innovative lighting solutions for photographers to capture unique and captivating images. - **Outdoor Lighting:** Potential for creating outdoor lighting fixtures that blend seamlessly with natural environments and create magical atmospheres. - **Lighting Design:** Emerging trend in designing lighting fixtures that evoke emotions and transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Opportunity for photographers and photography equipment manufacturers to explore new lighting techniques and products. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Potential for outdoor recreation businesses to incorporate innovative lighting solutions to enhance customer experiences in nature. - **Interior Design:** Emerging market for interior designers to incorporate unique and captivating lighting fixtures in their projects, creating transformative spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Physics-Based Artful Light Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-collection-1.md) - [Tree Branch-Formed Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/celestial-attraction.md) - [Recycled Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys-collection.md) - [Light Pollution-Reducing Island Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/island-lamp.md) - [Wireless Solar-Powered Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarpowered-lights.md) - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Wall-Mounted Ambient Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-varmblixt-collection.md) - [Bonfire-Inspired Indoor Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iri-lamp.md) - [Artfully Liquid-Like Light Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cairn-lamp.md)
