A cornbread mix, biscuit mix, and two brownie mixes are among the new offerings; they were inspired by some of Parton's favorite childhood dishes. A $40 kit with all four mixes, a towel, a spatula, and recipe cards is also offered. “What would Dolly do?” is written on the butterfly-decorated towel and spatula. The boxes come dipped in a baby pink shade with hot pink ‘Dolly Parton’ text on the front. “I knew Duncan Hines and I were bringing something special to the [baking aisle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cravings-by-chrissy-teigens) when we launched our partnership last year, and I’ve been thrilled by the response,” Parton said in a news release. “I’m really excited to launch more baking mixes steeped in my Southern roots, like Cornbread and Biscuits. I think folks are really going to like them and hope they’ll bake up some special memories with family and friends.” Image Credit: Duncan Hines, Gray Media Group, Inc. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 14% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Celebrity-backed Food Products:** The trend of celebrities endorsing or creating their own food products is on the rise, creating opportunities for celebrity collaborations and personalized product lines. - **Specialty Baking Mixes:** The trend of specialty baking mixes, such as those inspired by childhood dishes or cultural roots, is growing, offering opportunities to create unique and personalized baking experiences. - **Baking Kits:** The trend of curated baking kits that include mixes, tools, and recipe cards is increasing, providing opportunities for businesses to bundle products and offer a complete baking experience. ### Where This Applies - **Food and Beverage:** Food and beverage companies can capitalize on the growing trend of celebrity-backed food products to increase brand awareness and loyalty. - **Bakery:** Bakery business owners can develop their own specialty baking mixes and kits, tapping into nostalgia and cultural roots to create unique and enticing products. - **E-commerce:** E-commerce businesses can leverage the trend of curated baking kits by creating personalized bundles that include mixes, baking tools, and recipe cards to offer a complete and convenient baking experience for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Celebrity-Backed Breakfast Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duncan-hines-dolly-parton.md) - [Autumnal Caramel Cake Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caramel-sheet-cake-mix.md) - [Celebrity-Inspired Cookware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dolly-parton-1.md) - [Premium Baking Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-baking-mixes.md) - [Celebrational Foolproof Baking Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duncan-hines-epic-baking.md) - [Contemporary Confetti Cake Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joyfetti-cake-mix.md) - [Streaming Series Baking Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/betty-crocker-bridgerton.md) - [Artisan Brand Baking Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bobs-signature-blends-baking-mixes.md) - [Cinnamon Roll Muffin Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muffin-kit.md)
