The designs by Doktor A. always have a back story, and Montague’s is the classic narrative of a [pulp fiction writer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gen3-valentine-edition). While he believes strongly in the quality of his writing, he has not yet achieved the renowned success he aims for. A natural recluse, the writer is surrounded by books and pages, while his enemies, including his arch nemesis Oscar Lynchworthy, criticize his works. The sci-fi steam punk style, along with the compelling back story, make viewers feel affection towards the Doktor A. Montague sculpture. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Steampunk Sculptures:** Opportunity to create unique and visually captivating art pieces inspired by the steampunk aesthetic. - **Industrial Looking Toys:** Opportunity to design toys with an edgy and industrial style that appeals to collectors and enthusiasts. - **Pulp Fiction Narrative:** Opportunity to create immersive storytelling experiences that combine elements of pulp fiction and steampunk genres. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Sculpture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for artists and sculptors to explore and create in the steampunk genre. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for toy manufacturers to produce industrial-inspired toys that cater to a niche market. - **Interactive Storytelling:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for media companies and game developers to create immersive narratives fusing elements of pulp fiction and steampunk. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Author-Honoring Digital Typewriters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freewrite-ernest-hemingway.md) - [Functional Block Brick Typewriters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-typewriter.md) - [Steampunk Desktop Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3in1-desk.md) - [Modernized AI-Powered Typewriters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-typewriter.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Sci-Fi Nostalgic Dragon Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ground-dragon.md) - [Steampunk Aesthetic Espresso Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steampunk-espresso-machine.md) - [See-Through Mobile Typewriters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freewrite-traveler-ghost-edition.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md)
