# Puppy-Transporting Luggage The DogiBag is a Convenient Wheeled Carrier That Keeps Your Pooch Cozy By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-02-23 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dogibag References: [tuvie](http://www.tuvie.com/dogibag-a-travel-bag-concept-for-small-pet-by-nicklas-ekstrand/) & [nicklasekstrand](http://www.nicklasekstrand.com/) Enclosing a canine in a carry case is not fun for either party, but the DogiBag at least makes everyone feel a little more comfortable. Designed by Nicklas Ekstrand, the concept has been modeled on the modern and [ergonomic wheeled suitcase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luggical) and has been outfitted with some thoughtful features inside. The adjustable handle enables you to pull the [pet-ready luggage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crispin-pet-travel-crate) while it's in a vertical or a horizontal orientation. [Two large tires](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tank-series) guarantee a smoother ride over rough terrain to make dragging easier and soften the feel of any bumps for the passenger. A pair of bowls are integrated into the back wall of the structured and screened DogiBag, enabling you to refill water and kibble without unzipping the ventilated hood. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pet Travel:** The DogiBag showcases the trend of pet owners seeking convenient and comfortable ways to transport their pets during travels, opening opportunities for innovative solutions. - **Ergonomic Luggage:** The DogiBag's design draws inspiration from modern and ergonomic wheeled suitcases, reflecting the trend of consumers demanding comfort and convenience in their travel gear. - **Integrated Pet Accessories:** The integration of bowls in the DogiBag highlights the trend of pet products incorporating additional features, providing an opportunity for other industries to enhance their offerings with integrated accessories. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Products:** The pet travel trend presents an opportunity for the pet products industry to develop innovative and comfortable solutions for transporting pets. - **Luggage Manufacturing:** The trend of ergonomic luggage opens up opportunities for the luggage manufacturing industry to create more comfortable and user-friendly travel bags and suitcases. - **Outdoor Gear:** The DogiBag's smoother ride over rough terrains creates opportunities for the outdoor gear industry to design durable and versatile products suitable for various travel environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stool-Equipped Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guacal-pet-carrier.md) - [Stylish Multi-Functional Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-pet-carrier.md) - [Travel-Friendly Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bis-pet-collection.md) - [Dual-Purpose Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burrow-pet-carrier.md) - [Small Pet Carrier Enclosures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fenced-traveling-backpack.md) - [Posh Pooch Travel Trunks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archis-travel-trunk.md) - [Customizable Backpack-Style Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roller-travel-bag.md) - [Stabilized Dog Hiking Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hiking-backpack.md) - [Air-Filled Waterproof Dog Kennels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travel-dog-kennel.md)
