Items on the menu include jerky Roo Chews, the Achilles Heal beef knot tendons and The Old Timer lamb lungs, as well as 'Pooch Pints' such as [Bailey's Broth](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-dog-beer) and Freddie's Froth. The Canine Wellness Kitchen is set up to accommodate dogs that want to eat at the bar. Founders and canine chefs Katie Crandon and Laura Yeomans were passionate about launching the Canine Wellness Kitchen, saying: "We always felt that dogs got the short end of the stick when it came to human experiences such as markets, restaurants, cafes and food trucks. Often tied to a pole waiting for their loved ones to return or stuck under a table getting scraps of left over burgers or the odd hot chip." Inspired by the popularity of food trucks for humans, the roving Canine Wellness Kitchen puts a newfound emphasis on healthy, convenient and quality food for pets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Health-focused Pet Food:** The Canine Wellness Kitchen showcases the growing trend of offering nutritious and fresh food options for dogs on the go. - **Mobile Pet Services:** The launch of Australia's first dog food truck highlights the emerging trend of bringing convenient pet services directly to pet owners. - **Pet-friendly Dining Experiences:** The Canine Wellness Kitchen taps into the trend of creating inclusive dining environments that cater to both humans and their furry companions. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Food Manufacturing:** The success of the Canine Wellness Kitchen suggests an opportunity for pet food manufacturers to expand their product offerings to include healthier and more convenient options for pets. - **Mobile Food Services:** The introduction of dog food trucks opens up an innovative market for mobile food service providers to cater specifically to pets. - **Hospitality Industry:** The rise of pet-friendly dining experiences presents an opportunity for the hospitality industry to attract more customers by offering pet-friendly options and amenities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dog-Focused Food Trucks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/french-cuisine-for-dogs.md) - [Dog-Friendly Tasting Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dogue.md) - [Dog-Friendly Patio Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-patio-menu.md) - [Diner-Style Dog Meals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diner-cans.md) - [Fresh Dog-Friendly Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pup-pizza.md) - [Human-Friendly Dog Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/its-the-dogs-treats.md) - [Canine-Friendly Restaurant Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cafe-villa.md) - [Oven-Baked Dog Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oven-baked-dog-food.md) - [Dog-Friendly Bone Broth Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crafty-beasts-brewing-company.md)
