The Scandinavian design of the dog crate is crafted out of bent plywood and contains front closures that can be made out of either white metal or a clear acrylic panel. The stylish design of the dog crate is marketed as a side table, as its [minimalist, space-saving design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pawstairs) could easily fit into any home. The crate is designed to accommodate a [Fable dog bed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-bed1) and provides a cozy, anxiety-relieving spot for pets to rest in the home. When closed, the crate provides plenty of fresh air and natural light, all while keeping pets feeling secure and protected. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Elegant Dog Crates:** Fable's Crate showcases a stylish and elegant design that can be displayed as premium furniture in homes. - **Space-saving Designs:** The minimalist and space-saving design of Fable's Crate allows it to fit seamlessly in any home. - **Functional Pet Furniture:** Fable's Crate doubles as a side table, providing a practical and stylish solution for pet owners. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Pet Furniture:** The pet furniture industry can embrace the disruptive innovation opportunity of creating elegant and functional dog crates like Fable's Crate. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can explore the market of space-saving and stylish furniture pieces like Fable's Crate. - **Pet Care:** The pet care industry can consider incorporating anxiety-relieving features into pet furniture designs, as demonstrated by Fable's Crate. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Workplace-Friendly Doghouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barc-dog-kennel.md) - [Chic Plywood Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooffy.md) - [Stylish Multi-Functional Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-pet-carrier.md) - [Dual-Purpose Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-crate-and-end-table.md) - [Aluminum-Based Dog Crates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impact-dog-crates.md) - [Dog Bed-Equipped Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-furniture-design.md) - [Dual-Function Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/weelywally-oslo.md) - [Thoughtfully Designed Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crispin-pet-travel-crate.md) - [Demure Dog House Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-desk.md)
