# Intricately Angular Seating The Dodecahedronic Chair Offers a Contemporary Look By Leslie Chen | Published 2012-02-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dodecahedronic-chair References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/46059/) & [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/8/view/19109/hiroaki-suzuki-dodecahedronic-chair.html) I believe that chairs should be both appealing to the eye as well as comfortable, and the Dodecahedronic Chair combines these two elements together perfectly. Created by a design student based in Japan, Hiroaki [Suzuki](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suzuki-go), the Dodecahedronic Chair will take your breath away with its intricate composition of angles. The underside of the chair features an open space that can also be used as a [storage area](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verse-3d-printed-chair). Although the [angular structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yay-chair) of the Dodecahedronic Chair may make the seat look uncomfortable to sit on, each angle has been perfectly measured by Suzuki to ensure the utmost relaxation. The Dodecahedronic Chair looks wildly different from what I'm used to seeing in any home, but that's exactly why it's such an amazing piece of artwork.
