For me, anyway, since my addiction to sweets leaves my teeth prone to cavities and cavities means getting fillings and fillings means a giant needle being stuck into my gums, and then a really scary and noisy drill being used on my molars. The DMG Icon aims to rid people of having such a traumatizing experience. The DMG Icon applies hydrochloric acid directly onto the weak area of your tooth and eats away at the enamel until it reaches the cavity. Once this is done the dentist can inject a quick-hardening solution to fix the problem spot. The DMG Icon only works on [early-stage cavities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensodyne-clinical-repair), but since this procedure makes the dentist a little more appealing, [early detection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smile-house) will be a lot easier. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Painless Dental Procedures:** The DMG Icon is a pain-free alternative for early-stage cavity treatment. - **Hydrochloric Acid Application:** DMG Icon's use of hydrochloric acid for cavity treatment may lead to further innovation in dental procedures. - **Early Cavity Detection:** The DMG Icon may encourage more individuals to undergo regular dental check-ups for early cavity detection. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Dentistry:** DMG Icon's innovative approach to cavity treatment can disrupt traditional dental practices. - **Pharmaceuticals:** Further research into the quick-hardening solution used by DMG Icon can lead to new pharmaceutical products for dental care. - **Patient Care:** DMG Icon's painless and non-invasive cavity treatment approach has the potential to improve patient care experiences in the dental industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Powered Dental Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aipowered-dental-camera.md) - [Enamel Care Serums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enamel-care-serum.md) - [AI-Equipped Gum Health Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gum-health1.md) - [Revitalizing Oral Care Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vvardis-1.md) - [Oral Health-Improving Chewing Gums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smile-gum.md) - [High-Quality Oral Hygiene Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dentalclean-products.md) - [Custom Oral Health Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oral-health-device.md) - [Predictive Teeth Whitening Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colgate-illuminator.md) - [Pediatric Dental AI Technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overjet-for-kids.md)
