Fortunately, it's incredibly simple to make and it makes a perfect [party invitation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-invites) that seems a lot more complex to put together than it actually is. The '[Pop-Up House Party Invitation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boots-beauty-house-party)' template can be downloaded from the Mr. Printables blog and it includes a charming confetti-print which is ideal for birthdays, although this could really be changed to suit any season. The template also includes two colorful pull tabs, which is what helps the card to take its 3D shape after it is packed flat into an envelope. To add even more surprise to this shape-shifting card, its interior can be loaded with extra confetti to really announce that it's almost time to party. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Weddings](https://www.trendhunter.com/weddings) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **DIY Paper Invitations:** The trend of DIY paper invitations presents an opportunity for businesses to provide customizable invitation templates and materials. - **Pop-up Cards:** The trend of pop-up cards opens up possibilities for innovative designs and interactive elements for invitations and greeting cards. - **Surprise Elements:** The trend of incorporating surprise elements, such as pull tabs and confetti, in paper invitations offers opportunities to create memorable and engaging experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Paper Craft:** The paper craft industry can tap into the trend of DIY paper invitations by providing tools, materials, and inspiration for creative projects. - **Graphic Design:** The graphic design industry can explore the trend of pop-up cards to create visually stunning and interactive invitation designs. - **Event Planning:** The event planning industry can leverage the trend of surprise elements in paper invitations to offer unique and memorable event experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [3-D Card Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/6-popup-animal-cards-to-make.md) - [AI Birthday Party Invites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teddy-party.md) - [Digital Event Invitations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biglittle.md) - [Confetti-Filled Wrapping Papers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/confetti-wrapping-paper.md) - [Mid-Century-Inspired Paper House Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-christmas-ornament.md) - [Flat-Pack Paper Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi.md) - [2D/3D Wedding Design Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planner-5d.md) - [Flatpack Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vinterfint-advent-calendar.md) - [Structure Building Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-cards-building-kit.md)
