The set consists of cutouts for gigantic paper fruits like bananas, watermelons and kiwis that make great party decorations or photo props and toys for kids. The [paper cutouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-christmas-ornament) come printed on three large heavyweight posters, which can be cut out with a pair of scissors, folded and glued in place for assembly. Since this fun paper craft arrives in paper form, it's easy to ship and only needs to be unrolled before you begin cutting. As well as being great to look at, the [Giant Tropical Fruit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-grounds) set is also a fun way to teach kids the basics of geometry and the basics of creating 3D shapes from flat nets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **DIY Paper Craft Kits:** Opportunities for businesses to create and sell unique DIY paper craft kits for adults and children. - **Oversized Party Decorations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for party supply stores to offer oversized paper craft decorations for events. - **Educational Paper Crafts:** Opportunities for educational supply companies to create paper craft kits that incorporate basic geometry and other educational concepts. ### Where This Applies - **Arts and Crafts:** Opportunities for arts and crafts stores to stock and sell unique and innovative DIY paper craft kits. - **Party Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for party supply stores to offer oversized paper craft decorations for events and parties. - **Education:** Opportunities for educational supply companies to provide paper craft kits that double as educational tools. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Crystal Floral Arrangement Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-crystal-floral-kits.md) - [Eco Paper Crafting Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-fx.md) - [Buildable Paper Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/castle-playset.md) - [Bread-Themed Wrapping Paper Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bakermee.md) - [Tape Crafting Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nano-tape.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [DIY Plant Decor Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/make-it-yourself-plant-stand.md) - [Flat-Pack Paper Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi.md) - [DIY Embroidery Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-stitched-ornament-kits.md)
