Arrange [LEGO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/analog-lamps-1) toy bricks in a foil-line pan, bake, remove, mold, and you end up with a [floor-lamp shade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/her-floor-lamp). The technique would probably work for a standard shade as well, though you’d have to attach it to a frame of some type.

This is recycling gone very, very wrong. It’s doubtful that this is an environmentally-friendly project. The toxic fumes alone would drive most people from the kitchen. Then, there’s the destruction of perfectly good [LEGOs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/functional-microscope). While this is crafty and clever, it’s not high on the *good* eco-list.
